I recently had the pleasure of doing a Whytecliff Park engagement session for Roslyn and Corbin, who have been together for eight years and got engaged a few weeks ago while snowmobiling in the backcountry mountains of beautiful British Columbia. I'll be photographing their wedding next year on Gambier Island and I could not be more excited for this adventure!!

I met Roslyn a few years ago through social media, where we bonded over our shared passion for plant-based nutrition and love for nature and outdoor adventures. We now live in the same small little neighbourhood in West Vancouver and I just feel like our relationship is so synchronistic and universally aligned. I've now done a few branding sessions for her wonderful thriving biz which I HIGHLY recommend everyone check out for loads of evidence-based nutrition info: https://plantsfirst.ca/

Roslyn and Corbin chose Whytecliff Park in Horseshoe Bay for their engagement session, which is one of my all-time favourite locations. It has stunning views of the ocean and mountains and it just feels super unique with the little island you can walk out to at low tide. We also decided to do the shoot during the week and at sunset to avoid the crowds as much as possible.

As we arrived at the park, the sun was beginning to set, casting a beautiful golden light across the rocks. Roslyn and Corbin were SO easy to work with and I feel extremely grateful to have been able to capture this Whytecliff Park engagement session for them. The sunset was truly magical, and the light made the photos even more beautiful.
