an oceanside elopement in campbell river

vancouver island, BC

Jimson and Sara live in Hawaii, but decided to elope on the coast of Vancouver Island. They fell in love with the rugged beauty of the Pacific Northwest and knew that it would be the perfect location for their intimate elopement.

They chose the stunning coastline of Vancouver Island to take photos before the ceremony, and then rented the cutest cabin on Airbnb for the actual ceremony and exchange of vows. Jimson and Sara wanted their elopement to be an intimate and personal experience, so they opted to have just 2 close friends join as well as myself and the officiant. The intimate setting allowed them to focus on each other and the love they share, rather than getting lost in the details of a large wedding.

They spent the week before their official ceremony road tripping all over the island in a camper van, exploring the natural beauty of the Island. They hiked through old-growth forests, explored hidden waterfalls, and even went whale watching. The stunning landscapes of the Pacific Northwest provided the perfect setting for the couple to start their new life together.

Jimson and Sara knew that they wanted their elopement to be a memorable and personal experience, and eloping on Vancouver Island allowed them to create a day that was truly special to them. Elopements provide couples with a unique opportunity to create a personal and intimate experience that is truly reflective of their love and personalities.
